Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology DMLT is a medical Lab technologist course. It is a
part of medical science responsible for performing various laboratory investigations relating to
every diagnosis. It is the most vital area of investigations to the diagnosis of a disease.
Laboratory technicians are prepared experts in charge of performing complex errands and methods
that are therapeutic in nature. Their employment obligations incorporate gathering and breaking
down body liquid and tissue tests for irregularities, and working research centre hardware and
other electronic apparatuses in a lab setting. Most lab specialists work in healing centres,
however some work in veterinary facilities and research lab settings. The students become
skilled to perform tests that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of that disease. The students
are trained to collect samples, centrifuging, making slides and many other tests under proper
guidance. The students are also taught the other vital parts of maintaining and recording
results of tests and clinical records, evaluating and understanding the laboratory equipment and
the latest test methodology.
After completion of DMLT students can work in any government or private hospital or medical
labs and there is no shortage of job opportunities in this field.
